?: The answers bring more questions.

My curiosity has been my defining trait ever since I became the Question. Though that trait is not making my teammates all that happy. I was the one that discovered this conspiracy in Shield that has us here now.

I was hacking the computer files while the others were keeping the super solders off my back. Unfortunately I had a communications device in each ear. Batman in one, while Oracle was in another.

Oracle was reading these stupid fan fiction websites and telling me who people thought were together. All of them are wrong. “Spoiler and Batgirl? Bwhahahahahaha!”
I hear Barbra Laugh. It hurts my ear.

“When I taught them” I interrupt. “Batgirl only let one person near her comfort zone, any one else she punched in the face, and Spoiler was punched a lot. Also Stephanie is so into to Robin it’s almost funny. So who am I supposed to be with in their little fantasies?”

“Well since everyone thinks your dead…”

Batman growls into my other ear “This all very interesting.” I can tell from his tone he doesn’t believe it is all. “But Question isn’t there to play the Gossip Game. “

“Don’t worry I’m good at multitasking. “ I reassure. “So you were saying, Oracle?”

“Oh you faked your death. So no one really believes you’re with anyone. “

“I have a Question Oracle. Do you not have anything better to do?”

She changes the subject. “So why did you fake your Death?”

“That is the Question.”

She sighs. “You’re an annoying man Victor Sage.”


“You let your self get annoyed Miss Gordon.”

Supergirl shouts. “Aren’t you about finished Question? I’d like to actually get home tonight. “

I get passed the last firewall at that moment. “What are you worried about Kara you are invulnerable.”

I shrug and put in a disk I begin copying everything. I sit back and dodge a web ball from the Scarlet Spider. Finally it downloads. “Okay everyone we can go.”


After Goku teleports us all back, it takes me about three days to. Sift through all the data. I don’t like what I find.

Later.

“What do you mean Fury and Stark don’t know about the experiments?” Our new recruit Shi loudly queries. I assume she’s had a run in with SHIELD.

“Because as much as I’d love to find something to put Tony Stark away for the rest of his life. He’s not behind the super soldier? Cloning experiments, Etc. Is a colonel named Joseph Franks. He is planning something, something big. “

Batman glares. “Find out what Victor.”

The next day we fight our way through to Franks. “So what is this?” He smiles a creepy smile. “You super villains want to use me as a hostage? But none of you are truly villains are you? ”

How did he know that? He keeps smiling “So Batman is behind all this huh?”

“You’re a telepath.” I guess.

“Among other things” He laughs. “You are not going to bring me in for my crimes you know. In fact I will tear you apart.” In that second he becomes a White Martian. Huh. That answers some things, but brings up a whole bunch of other questions. Good thing for me I love answering those that is if we get out of this alive.

Scarlet Spider: I'm not getting any respect.

Okay first I get trained constantly. Batman says it's because I'm too rusty with my powers, but I think it's because I got a little roughed up by his little pet freak. Hey I thought I saw her hand glow for a second, and my spider sense went off.

I instinctually jumped out of the way of whatever it was, and she somehow knew what I was doing and kicked me through the window. Whish I had my web shooters on then it would have been a whole different story.

Who am I kidding? Bats is right, since I was saved from dying I've been watching TV all day, and eating lots of cheese puffs. But What Bats had me doing today.. well it's just degrading.

He had me escort this... thing. Not really sure what it is out of Gotham. It wouldn't shut up sceraming the whole way.

Turned out it wasn't in any danger. It was just brought to the destination to distract Aquaman away from the JLA meeting that was happening at that moment. You know why they won’t tell the lamer of the two fish men why they didn't want him there?

Because he cries when he isn't allowed at the meetings then he gets dehydrated, and well it's a mess. I wonder if he knows he's not in the JLA anymore? Well isn't the ol' Parker.. I mean Reilly luck that I told him they were trying to distract him and well you do not want to be around crying Aquaman believe me.


I swung away when he asked me to "hold him."

Now Bats is yelling at me about how I'm not supposed to talk to Aquaman. This bites.

The Batman: First mission

The Question has some theories about a SHIELD installation outside of Anchorage Alaska. I sent him and there to investigate. Also I sent the so the rest of them as well. I'm staying in the Batcave, and directing from there.

Listening to the Scarlet Spider and Son Goku talk as they sneak in from the woods. " Get out! You’re married!" The Spider Yells.

" Yup! And I got two kids, and three grandkids." Goku responds.

“But you act like a twelve year old. "

I order into the bat computer. " You two stop talking!"

" Yes Master Batman sir!" Spider jokes.

" Hh. Supergirl Report."

" Well this is exactly boring. Have you done anything about Richard yet?"

“Not right now Kara. What does your X-ray vision tell you?" I retort.

“There’s lead in the walls boss. Can't see a thing, but I can hear something. weird in there. "

" Catwoman status report."


" I'm in Bruce. Glad I didn't go in with the Question. He Threw a trash can through the other door while singing Britany Spears songs . Are you sure he's really all there?"

“He’s a little Strange Selina I admit, but it’s likely an act." I reassure.

“Okay. Well he head all the rent-a-cops go after him.. And oh my God!"

“What is it Catwoman?"

" There are people in tanks in here. Looks like they have metahuman body parts grafted on to them. "

“Question, we’ve found something interesting." I say. “What do you have on your end?"

"Well my knuckles are sore and I'm downloading the files here there are some very interesting experiments here."

Then Catwoman screams “the experiments are attacking!"

" Goku! Scarlet Spider Supergirl get to Catwoman's position now!" I command.

I hack into the security camera to see things volunteers most likely Attack Catwoman. Then Goku just appears from nowhere. With the Spider in tow. And Supergirl.

They fight them off but One of them starts draing the others energy Until Supergirl comes in and freezes it. The thing starts draining Kara as well. It soon breaks free of the ice.

“Question hurry up!" I yell. “Get the info and get toyour teammates before Goku runs out of too much energy to teleport you!"

"Wait a minute!" The faceless man protests.

Goku transforms And into a supersaiyan and fires energy but that makes his power drain faster. Suddenly the creature stares looking bloated.


" Question! Anytime now!" I growl.

" Done! " He declares, pushing past some guards That were getting up, He makes it into the door and the team teleports out right before the creature explodes.

Question is now happily going over the information. From what we have so far it seems that there is a super solider creating scheme going on that Fury Doesn't know about I wonder if Stark does?

This is all very interesting until Alfred says. “Master Bruce you may want to see this. "

I watch a report on the explosion they are branding my team "Outlaws" and suprvillians that attacked a government research facility. Perfect. But next the JLA will start investigating, and I'm pretty sure Conner has blabbed to Superman About us already.


While I'm thinking about this Selina slinks up to me “Looks like all the little heroes are going to be a little mad about being thought of as villains Maybe I'd better help you relax before they all yell at you."


“Selina . I thought we were going to keep this professional." I admonish.

“Since when do we keep it pro... Oh there's someone else isn't there?" I nod. “Bruce I thought.. Look I can't work with you like this and not want you it's too weird. I have to leave."

Damn looks like I have to find a replacement for Cabwoman. I think I know just the person.
